James Strauch

Partner and LPL Financial Advisor

Jim joined the practice in 2010 and became partner in 2015. As a son of the founder, he was raised in the business and always knew he would someday play a key role. He prepared for that day with a degree in business administration from Portland State University.

What he likes most about TruLife Financial Advisors is helping clients have the life they want through developing long-term relationships and delivering personalized management of their wealth.

“My goal is to help people who need help,” he says.

One of his focuses as partner is managing his clients’ experience by being accessible and responsive. It’s not unusual for him to personally deliver flowers to a client who has lost her spouse. Nor is it unusual for him to plan fun and educational events that give clients more insight into how he and his team manage their wealth.

“I believe a healthy and fun work environment for both clients and team members is essential to growing clients’ portfolios and our business,” he adds.

When not at the office, he spends time with his wife Trish and their three kids – Truman, Stella and Navy – much of which is spent at children’s sporting events. His other interests include skiing, golf and adventure travel.

“My main goals are supporting and taking care of my family and doing the best job for our clients and team,” he says, “while continuing my own education to be sure I’m doing the very best job possible for my clients.
